Tom Waits visit David Letterman, Jimmy Fallon


It’s been seven years between proper studio albums from the legendary Tom Waits. The singer-songwriter released Bad As Me, last year, the long-awaited follow up to 2004′s Real Gone.

On the first night on Monday, He appeared on the Late Show with David Letterman, accompanied by his son Casey Waits on drums, bassist Larry Taylor, guitarist David Hidalgo, keyboardist Augie Myers and guitarist Big Bill Morganfield. Waits was interviewed by host David Letterman. The pair discussed an antique rat trap that Waits had bought from eBay. He joked that he is now no longer allowed on the internet auction site. He then performed Bad As Me opener, “Chicago” at the end of the show.

The night after, Waits and his crew made their next late night stop on the Late Night With Jimmy Fallon. On the interviewed, He and host Jimmy Fallon mostly discussed on Bad As Me album, living in New York. He then joked that he wanted to have a room despite a hall regarding to his Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction. Later he played another song from his 17th studio album, “Raised Right Men.”
